Applications & Uses

Hesperidin is a natural component extracted from Fructus Aurantii Immaturus. It belongs to vitamin P. It has the functions of maintaining normal permeability of blood vessels, reducing brittleness and permeability of capillaries, increasing resistance of capillaries (enhancing the function of vitamin C), protecting capillaries, preventing micro blood vessels from rupture and bleeding, inhibiting the rise of blood cholesterol and preventing arteriosclerosis. It is a treatment drug for hypertension and myocardial infarction. Hesperidin has an antioxidant effect. It can reduce the symptoms of allergy and hay fever by inhibiting the production of histamine in blood. Hesperidin is used in combination with Diosmin for the treatment of venous insufficiency and hemorrhoids in Europe.
